The New Fruit Wedding Band is modeled after a fig leaf from our own garden. Created by the study of the growth patterns of these trees, each piece is handcrafted in our studio using the ancient tradition of lost wax casting method. The leaf itself is left clean but completely unfinished to maintain the subtle details of the netted venation of the fig leaf. The brush-finished 14 karat contrasts with the high polish of the band to create a two-tone depiction of the sacred story of marriage, the dichotomy of the leaf and the fruit being wholly different and wholly the same.
